Honey Chilli Lotus Stem


  • 2 Cups Lotus Stem
  • ¼ Cup Cornflour
  • 2 Tbsp Chilli Oil
  • ½ Cup Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 1/3 Cup Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Salt To Taste


1. Slice lotus stem and dust with corn flour.

2. Deep fry until crisp and drain oil.

3. Heat chilli oil in a wok, add honey, chilli flakes, tomato paste and soy sauce. Bring contents to a boil and add in fried lotus stem. Toss well.
